About Me.
Tian Geldenhuys
I have over a decade of hands-on experience across heavy industry, manufacturing, recycling, and international project delivery.
My career began in the concrete brick manufacturing and mining/recycling sector, where I spent 11 years in senior leadership roles. During this time, I was involved in the design, construction, and operation of industrial plants, while also overseeing commercial management, sales, and procurement. In the recycling division, we processed over 30,000 tons of building rubble per month, requiring tight operational control, cost management, and consistent quality standards.
I later moved into a large industrial group, where I was responsible for project management, commercial management, and business development across multiple regions. This role took me extensively into international markets, particularly China, where I worked closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and engineering teams. I was directly involved in sourcing complex equipment, evaluating factories, understanding local work culture, and identifying both the strengths and the risks within Chinese production environments. During this period, I contributed to the development of a steel foundry and multiple recycling and industrial processing plants.
Today, I combine this operational, commercial, and international experience to help manufacturers and buyers bridge the gap between Chinese production capability and Western expectations with a strong focus on quality, accountability, and results.
